Giving your kids a Global Outlook
The picture that started it all…
Hi there! I’m Jenny, a long-time traveler who’s just a little bit obsessed with our amazing world!
Oh, and also the creator of Curious Kids Travel Club.
I didn’t really mean to spend more than 20 years traveling and living abroad, it just kind of happened. I couldn’t stop!
But what happens when a nomad like me, who’s been to more than 55 countries, gets stuck at home during COVID lockdown? You guessed it, I use random art supplies and household objects to create travel scenes in my living room!
One scene was of a polar bear in Greenland, and when I showed the picture to my partner that evening, we started talking about all the places where that bear could go, and all the travel scenes I could put her in.
The 11+ years I’d spent teaching suddenly collided with the traveling polar bear in my brain! After years of creating fun learning materials to keep my students engaged, why not use those skills to send that bear on adventures around the world and teach kids about it at the same time?
I created a polar bear character called Bibaluk, and just like that, Curious Kids Travel Club was born.
My creative brain went wild and I started making materials: activities, games, coloring pages, and more. You have NO idea how much fun I have preparing all of this for your kiddos! But that’s not my only motivation.
There's so much hate and fear in the world today, but on my travels I’ve seen that most people are good and honest. Why can’t everyone be treated with acceptance and respect?
That starts with awareness, so let’s teach kids about the world, so we can build a future of love, not hate.
Join me and Bibaluk as we show your curious kid our amazing world with our Virtual Adventure Trips!
Our Values:
What is life without joy, laughter, and silliness? Kids learn best when they’re having fun, and the more ridiculous, the better! With this in mind, we strive to make our stories and activities engaging and entertaining for your kids.
Fun
Curiosity
Kids naturally want to explore and discover the world around them. We encourage this curiosity by prompting them to ask questions and investigate things for themselves.
Kindness makes the world a better place! We promote kindness and respect, encouraging children to treat others with empathy and understanding.
Kindness
We believe that all people should be respected, no matter their gender, sexuality, race, age, beliefs, or accessibility. Our world’s diversity should be celebrated and teaching kids about other places and cultures is our way of doing this!
Inclusivity
We aim to instill a sense of responsibility in children towards the world and all its diverse inhabitants, encouraging them to make positive contributions to society.
